Junior UI/UX Designer
Job Description
The role
To assist in the growth of Fixico, we are looking for a Junior UI/UX designer to join the product development team. Our team is responsible for creating and constantly improving Fixico’s one of a kind platform to better fit the needs of our partners, clients and body repair shop network.
As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will take an important part in shaping the design for all of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a consistent product and partner focused designs that will drive the satisfaction of our users. You align business strategies in combination with user needs to ensure the usability of our products. You are the advocate of our users and you will articulate your work based on what is best for them.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will have constant contact with different internal and external stakeholders in order to create the best user experience possible. This means you will be:
Taking broad ideas and transfer them into a user-friendly products, B2B applications and dashboards
Collecting internal and external feedback in order to raise the bar of our products and their quality
Partnering up with our product owners, designers, and engineers to oversee our product from concept to launch
Collaborating on UI/UX research and propose solutions to solve business and user problems
Maintaining and extending our atomic design system
Ensuring measurability of the user experience
Requirements
What are we looking for
You have at least 1 - 2 years of experience in product design or in any similar position; B2B experience is a strong plus
You are familiar with the fundamentals of web design (HTML/CSS)
You are able to understand and translate user needs, in combination with business requirements, into powerful designs
You are able to communicate and share a vision on your projects with our product owners and engineers
You have clear understanding of common UI/UX design patterns and UX research methods
You have an outstanding portfolio with a clear focus on user-centred design
You are fluent in design tools such as Sketch App, InVision (or other prototyping tools), and Adobe CC software
