About us:

We, the Product Development team, are leading the effort to built the coolest new features for Fixico’s customers, repair shops, and partners. Together with our team of Product Owners, Developers, and UX/UI Designers, we are on a mission to seek new challenges and to explore the boundaries of current and new technologies.

Our stack:

As a PHP software engineer at Fixico, you will be spending most of your time on Laravel (and accompanying packages/tools). However, we believe that not everything can be solved using Laravel, or PHP for that matter. That is why we also use some other languages such as Golang, Python and Node.js.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will design, build, and deploy products that will be used by our partners and users all over Europe. Our projects are built on top of modern technologies. We are always looking for new and creative ways of solving problems (and sometimes create new ones). We don't like to re-invent the wheel so we use a lot of open-source software or write code we can share and re-use internally.

What are we looking for:

• At least 2-3 years of experience with building API’s with Laravel.

• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows and shipping applications to production.

• Self-starting mentality; being pro-active and able to thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments

• Team player who likes to collaborate with colleagues across all departments

• Challenges teammates and asks questions about architecture and product decisions

• High level of autonomy and responsibility
